Summary: Pages 318 and 319 from a volume of field notes from Robert E. Silberglied from entomological field work conducted on the Galapagos Islands in 1970. He describes travel, collecting and field activities, observations of local culture and customs, and photographs taken. Also included are expenses, itinerary information, rain data charts, and some small sketches. Some sketches show insect nests and tunnels through logs. Several hand-drawn maps of the islands are included throughout.
